molten ice

made for the artists tavern spring'25 game jam

controls:

WASD/arrows for movement

Left click only to pick up and place down the ice cube

Right click to aim + left click at the same time to shoot

you melt over time

this game was supposed to be a kinda defense shooter where you defend the ice cube, either that or a speedrun platformer kinda thing but i haven't figured out any interesting mechanics for that

but i was short on time for reasons, i made whatever i could in one day and i didn't manage to actually make the main game loop so i made a small speedrun level, just because i wanted to submit anything even if it might be pretty horrible, most of the time was spent on the player animations and movement code
the gun is supposed to be a water hose also
